Suisun City, California, declared a state of emergency following an August 7 cyberattack that disrupted internal systems, online municipal services, and parts of its 911 emergency response network. Officials completely shut down the city’s computer infrastructure to contain the malware and preserve digital evidence. Emergency calls were rerouted to a nearby dispatch center to maintain public safety while the FBI and federal agencies investigate the breach.
