AI-based cancer care becomes reality on national cancer grid

<p>The Koita Centre for Digital Oncology will support the use of digital tools and technology to enhance cancer care in India with a grant of Rs 25 crore over five years. The NCG digitization effort will also aid epidemiological cancer research, which are necessary for governments to plan cancer-control initiatives. Over 10 lakh new instances of cancer are thought to be discovered in India each year.</p>
