AI Leaders Sign Voluntary Safety Pledge With the U.S. Name Accidentally Misspelled

President Donald Trump and major AI leaders signed a voluntary “Joint Commitment on Frontier Responsibilities” focused on AI safety, internal controls and independent oversight. However, a photo of the signed agreement shared by Trump misspelled “United States” as “Unites States.” The pledge has no stated legal or regulatory penalties for companies that fail to follow it.
