AI Pioneer Yann LeCun Departs Meta to Form New Research Company
Artificial intelligence pioneer Yann LeCun is leaving his role as Meta's Chief AI Scientist at the end of the year to launch a startup. The new company will focus on advanced AI research, including systems that can understand the physical world, reason, and plan complex actions. Meta plans to partner with the new venture.
