Anthropic’s New Armor Blunts AI "Data Theft" by Up to 99%

Anthropic announced that newly deployed security measures have successfully slashed data theft from so-called "distillation attacks" by 90% to 99%. By heavily restricting access to Claude's advanced reasoning capabilities and penalizing suspicious scraping accounts, the company has heavily curtailed unauthorized attempts by rival AI firms to harvest its model's capabilities to train competing systems.
