Automation and AI slows down hiring in top 5 IT firms

<p>TCS, Infosys, HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra and Wipro hired fewer people as they switch to AI and automation for delivering services. In the last 5 years, TCS saw 7% CAGR in hiring whereas Infosys, Wipro, and HCL workforce increased only by 6.59%, 3%, and 7.23% respectively. Tech M&#39;s hiring was limited to 4% each year with 10.26% revenue growth. These firm usually hires contracted workers for projects and aims to reduce human intervention.&nbsp;</p>
