ChatGPT faces GDPR order from Italy for potential privacy violations

Italy's privacy regulator, Garante, has issued an order to ChatGPT, the popular AI language model developed by OpenAI, regarding potential violations of the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The order requires ChatGPT to provide clarification on how it handles personal data and to take necessary measures to comply with the GDPR. The move comes amid growing scrutiny over data privacy concerns related to AI language models.
