Cisco has introduced "Cisco Unified Edge," a new computing device designed to run AI workloads locally at sites like retail stores and factory floors. Featuring an Intel chip, this platform brings AI infrastructure closer to the data source, helping to speed up processing and relieve overburdened traditional data centers from complex commands and network traffic driven by AI models.
