CJI Urges Balancing AI in Courts With Core Constitutional Values

Speaking at the Association of Asian Constitutional Courts congress, Chief Justice of India Surya Kant urged courts to embrace digitalization and artificial intelligence to reduce delays and manage information. However, he cautioned that technological advancements must never dilute foundational constitutional values like dignity, equality, liberty, and fairness, ensuring that digital tools serve rather than replace the human heart of justice.
