Ex-UK PM Rishi Sunak Joins Microsoft & Anthropic as Senior Adviser
Former British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has accepted part-time advisory roles at Microsoft and AI startup Anthropic, focusing on global strategy, macroeconomics, and geopolitical trends. His compensation will be donated to his charity, The Richmond Project. To avoid conflicts, the UK’s Advisory Committee on Business Appointments (ACOBA) has barred him from lobbying the government for two years and from using insider knowledge from his time in office.
