Google Appeals EU Orders Requiring Android Access and Search Data Sharing With AI Rivals

Google has appealed EU orders requiring it to open parts of Android to rival AI services and share anonymised Search data with competing search engines and AI chatbots. Google argues the measures could weaken Android’s security and expose users’ private search histories. The EU says the rules are designed to increase competition while including privacy safeguards.
