Google has launched AI-powered "Information Agents" inside its Search AI Mode, transitioning from a reactive search box to a proactive tracking tool. Currently exclusive to Google AI Ultra subscribers, these autonomous agents operate continuously in the background. Users can trigger them with simple prompts like "keep me updated on," and the AI will monitor news, blogs, social media, and live data, delivering synthesized summaries whenever relevant changes occur.
