HP to Cut Up to 6,000 Jobs by 2028 Amid AI Strategy Shift

PC giant HP Inc. plans to cut between 4,000 and 6,000 jobs globally by fiscal year 2028 as part of a restructuring to streamline operations. CEO Enrique Lores stated the move is aimed at achieving $1 billion in gross run rate savings over three years and accelerating the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across product development and internal functions to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
