ICAI to introduce AI and blockchain in auditing

<p>Newly elected president, Debashis Mira has said that new technologies like AI and blockchain will be a big focus for ICAI. She added that the peer review system will do wonders for audit quality. Implementation will start as early as April 1 and will continue to roll out in phases over three years. The recently launched Audit Quality Maturity Model gives sole auditors a way to assess their own audit maturity and give them a roadmap to improve their audits.</p>
