Meta Launches “Vibes” — An AI-Generated Short Video Feed Users Didn’t Ask For
Meta rolled out Vibes, a new short-form video feed inside the Meta AI app and on meta.ai featuring entirely AI-generated videos — a blend of surreal, abstract content dubbed “AI slop.” Users can browse, remix, or create their own videos with visuals, music, and share them to Instagram or Facebook. Partnering with Midjourney and Black Forest Labs, Meta continues to test novel AI media tools despite lukewarm reactions to the rollout.
