Meta May Use Google & OpenAI Models in Apps
Meta’s Superintelligence Labs is reportedly in talks to integrate rivals’ AI models, including Google’s Gemini and OpenAI’s offerings, into its apps—particularly for enhancing its “Meta AI” chatbot. These potential collaborations are viewed as interim solutions while Meta develops its own next-generation model, Llama 5. Internally, Meta already utilizes external AI, such as Anthropic’s models, in tools like its coding assistant.
