Meta Unveils "Meta Compute" Initiative to Build Massive AI Infrastructure
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced "Meta Compute," a new top-level initiative dedicated to scaling the company’s AI infrastructure. The ambitious project aims to build tens of gigawatts of capacity this decade, eventually scaling to hundreds. Led by Santosh Janardhan and Daniel Gross, the initiative focuses on custom silicon, global data centers, and strategic partnerships to deliver "personal superintelligence" to billions.
