Microsoft India President Calls India "One of the Most Exciting Markets" for AI and Tech
Puneet Chandok, President of Microsoft India & South Asia, declared India “one of the most exciting markets in the world for technology and AI.” He highlighted that while AI now contributes 30% of Microsoft’s code, a significant "tech debt" remains—requiring more engineers, software, and applications. Chandok emphasized Microsoft’s long-term commitment to India, backed by a $3 billion investment plan, skilling initiatives for 10 million people, and strong economic ties driving innovation.
