OpenAI Goes Global: Singapore Chosen for First-Ever International Applied AI Lab

OpenAI is opening its first applied AI laboratory outside the U.S. through a $300 million partnership with the Singapore government. The hub will employ over 200 engineers to develop practical AI solutions for Southeast Asia. Teams will work with local industries to integrate AI into public services, healthcare, finance, and developer training programs.
