OpenAI Unveils AI-Powered Jobs Platform to Rival LinkedIn
OpenAI is developing the OpenAI Jobs Platform, an AI-driven hiring system set to launch by mid-2026. Announced by Applications CEO Fidji Simo, the platform will use AI to match companies with qualified talent—including specialized tracks for small businesses and local governments. It will integrate with OpenAI Academy to offer AI fluency certifications. This initiative directly positions OpenAI as a challenger to Microsoft-owned LinkedIn.
