Built entirely from scratch in a rapid nine-month cycle, this specialized "Intelligence Processor" is purpose-built exclusively for large language model (LLM) inference. Rather than training models, Jalapeño focuses on slashing data center costs and boosting power efficiency for user-facing applications like ChatGPT.
