SpaceX is establishing an in-house turbine blade foundry in Bastrop, Texas, to ease supply chain delays for natural gas power generation needed by AI data centers. By casting high-spec nickel-superalloy components directly, Elon Musk aims to accelerate turbine availability by up to 18 months, leveraging shared tech between SpaceX's Raptor rocket engines and AI power infrastructure.
