UNM and Los Alamos Lab Develop AI Framework to Solve Century-Old Physics Problem
Researchers from The University of New Mexico (UNM) and Los Alamos National Laboratory have introduced the Tensors for High-dimensional Object Representation (THOR) AI framework. This innovative computational tool utilizes tensor network algorithms to efficiently compute complex configurational integrals and partial differential equations, which are crucial for determining the thermodynamic and mechanical properties of materials.
