Your Face, Their Prompt: Meta Lets Anyone AI-Clone Public Instagram Users

Meta's new "Muse Image" tool allows anyone to generate AI images of you simply by typing your public Instagram handle into a prompt—without notifying you. Cybersecurity experts warn this heavily lowers the barrier for identity scams and deepfakes. While users can opt out through their profile settings or by going private, the change does not retroactively delete already-generated content.
