Zendesk Unveils AI Agent That Can Resolve 80% of Support Issues

Zendesk introduced an autonomous support agent that it claims can resolve 80% of customer issues without human intervention. Complementary agents include a co-pilot to assist human technicians, an admin agent, voice agent, and analytics agent. Early previews with customers showed satisfaction gains of 5–10 points. Zendesk aims to shift from human-centric support to an AI-driven model across its 20,000+ clients.
