German grants permission for driverless cars on public roads
<p>Driverless vehicles to be allowed on the streets of Germany by 2022 as per the new legislation adopted by the country. The bill passed by the lower house of the parliament looks at level 4 autonomy vehicles. These vehicles of delivery services and robotaxis will be limited to few geographical areas. The bill still needs the approval of the upper house. Companies will have to agree to follow rules -- liability insurance, having access to stop autonomous operations remotely.</p>
