There will be more than 2B smart home devices worldwide by end of this year

<p>The install base of smart home devices will surpass 2B devices this year, driven primarily by smart speakers. The top three global shipments in 2021 were linked health devices, plugs/switches, and smart speakers, with 195M each. The US had smart home technology installed in about 55% of broadband households the previous year. In 2021, roughly 21% of broadband households in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa had a smart home device.</p>
