30 Japanese Tech Companies Sign Agreements with Vedanta Group for Semiconductor Plant
<p>Vedanta Group has signed memoranda of understanding with 30 Japanese IT companies. They have invested $20 billion to establish a semiconductor manufacturing facility in Dholera, Gujarat, working with Taiwanese chipmaker Foxconn. With the state government, Vedanta-Foxconn has signed an MoU to establish a semiconductor fab unit, a display fab unit, and an assembling and testing facility for semiconductors in this location.</p>
