72% Professionals Demand Human Oversight Even as AI Gains Ground in Hiring

A survey by Genius HRTech of 1,887 professionals reveals 72% believe human validation is essential in hiring, even as AI is increasingly used. Only 15% support fully AI-driven decisions if systems are well-calibrated. AI is boosting efficiency—47% report major reductions in time-to-hire—but candidate experience is mixed: about 49% find AI processes impersonal, and 27% dislike the lack of human interaction.
