Venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz has joined other Silicon Valley leaders in backing a $100 million political network—Leading the Future—aimed at influencing U.S. AI regulation. Through a network of super-PACs and advocacy arms, the initiative supports policies that maximize AI’s economic and transformative potential and opposes regulations seen as overly restrictive. Early backers include OpenAI’s Greg Brockman, Perplexity, and notable investors Ron Conway and Joe Lonsdale.
