ABB Posts Strong Q3, Largely Unfazed by US Tariff Pressures

ABB reported a 12% rise in operating earnings (EBITA) to $1.74 billion in Q3, against robust global demand. Revenue increased 11% to $9.08 billion and orders climbed 12%, with the U.S. segment growing 27%. Despite concerns over U.S. tariffs, the company said it hasn’t seen any material impact on demand or profitability. For Q4, ABB projects mid-single-digit sales growth.
