AIUC Raises $40M to Help Enterprises Rein In Rogue AI Agents

AI safety startup AIUC, founded by an early Anthropic employee and former METR COO, has raised $40 million in Series A funding. The company provides independent audits and certification for AI agents, testing them for risks such as jailbreaks, hallucinations, and data leaks. Its AIUC-1 standard uses thousands of tests to assess whether AI agents can operate safely and reliably in enterprise environments.
