Albuquerque schools are shut down due to cyberattack

<p>School officials in Albuquerque, New Mexico, canceled classes due to a cyberattack. Days after a ransomware attack hit government services across Bernalillo County, the shutdown occurred. The officials said that schools will remain closed as the district investigates a cyberattack that compromised the student information system. The system is used to record attendance, contact families in the event of an emergency and ensure that students are picked up by parents.</p>
