Amazon announces Local Zones for regions outside of US

<p>Last year at the re:Invent event, Amazon announced Local Zones which are low latency data centers based on localities for fastest response. Launched initially in the US, Amazon has finally announced that Local zones will be going global and will be expanding to 26 new countries. The local zones include Indian cities like Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata. These new data centers will offer single-digit millisecond performance, as per Amazon.</p>
