The COVID-19 pandemic hastened the trend of remote working across most industries, and cloud call center businesses like Five9 Inc. experienced a boom in business. The company's cloud computing branch, Amazon Web Services, also offers software called Amazon Connect that enables businesses to use remote networks to serve customers.</p>
