Amazon Signs $2.4B Deal With Generac for Data Center Backup Generators

Amazon has signed a long-term agreement with Generac to supply backup generators for its data centers, with initial deliveries worth about $2.4 billion in 2027 and 2028. The deal could eventually reach $8 billion in generator purchases. Generac will also give an Amazon subsidiary warrants to acquire up to 1.69 million shares, linking the arrangement to future purchases.
