Amazon To File A Case Against CCPA Over Violation Of Norms

<p>Amazon filed a lawsuit against the CCPA(Central Consumer Protection Authority) in the Delhi HC to contest a ruling that the e-commerce site had broken laws pertaining to the sale of pressure cookers. The regulatory authority under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs had issued an order a few months back, imposing a penalty of Rs 1 Lakh on the Seattle-based firm for violation of Bureau of Indian Standards for products sold over its marketplace.</p>
