Angry Birds' creator sued for selling personal data of children
<p>The developer of the popular gaming franchise &quot;Angry Birds&quot; is being sued by New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas. The AG has accused the developer of collecting and selling the personal data of children under the age of 13. Balderas said parent firm Rovio &quot;monetises children data by surreptitiously exfiltrating their personal information&quot;, and hence violates state privacy laws and the federal Children&#39;s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).<br /> <br /> <br /> &nbsp;</p>
