Anthropic Nears $5B Funding, Valuation Soars to $170B as Revenue Surges
Anthropic is negotiating a substantial funding round of $3–5 billion—led by Iconiq Capital—that would elevate its valuation to approximately $170 billion, nearly tripling from its $61.5 billion mark in March. The AI startup’s annualized revenue has jumped from $4 billion to $5 billion in recent weeks, with expectations to hit $9 billion by year-end. Investors in talks include QIA, GIC, Amazon, Lightspeed, Menlo Ventures, and Alkeon.
