Apple and Meta had previously planned to develop businesses together

<p>Apple and Meta, who are at odds over privacy changes in iOS and the App Store, previously intended to create businesses together when Apple was in talks with the social network run by Mark Zuckerberg about how it could increase the amount of money it makes from advertising. The Wall Street Journal reported that Apple and Facebook talked about revenue-sharing agreements and a hypothetical subscription-based, ad-free version of Facebook.</p>
