Apple App Store Drives $5.3 Billion in Developer Revenue in India in 2024

Apple's App Store ecosystem in India facilitated ₹44,447 crore ($5.31 billion) in developer billings and sales, according to an Apple-commissioned study. Notably, over 94% of this revenue was retained by developers and businesses without any commission paid to Apple. The study also highlighted that global earnings for India-based developers have tripled over the past five years, with nearly 80% of their App Store revenue coming from international markets.
