Apple claims startup hired employees to steal chip secrets

<p>Apple has filed a lawsuit against a company for allegedly stealing trade secrets in order to create a competing chip lineup. The lawsuit named Rivos of Santa Clara and two former Apple employees. It claimed that the firm ran a "coordinated campaign" to recruit Apple employees and encourage them to copy confidential documents before leaving. Apple claimed that over 40 of its engineers were involved, many of whom were familiar with its system-on-a-chip designs.</p>
