Apple Drives India's Smartphone Exports to Record ₹2 Lakh Crore in FY25

India's smartphone exports surged 54% in the fiscal year 2024-25, reaching over ₹2 lakh crore, with Apple's iPhones contributing ₹1.5 lakh crore. Electronics and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw highlighted that the electronics manufacturing industry has grown fivefold in the past decade, with exports increasing sixfold. The government aims to double value addition in electronics manufacturing to 40% within five years.
