Apple Fails in its Second Attempt to Sue Qualcomm Over its Patents Before US Supreme Court

<p>The US Supreme Court rejected Apple's request to have two Qualcomm smartphone patents invalidated, which was a key demand in a larger dispute between the two firms in 2017 that was ultimately resolved two years later. Apple had argued that Qualcomm may sue the iPhone maker again when the terms of the settlement it reached in 2017 will expire in 2025, in addition to an optional two-year extension, and had sought to resurrect an effort to invalidate the two patents.</p>
