Arm Seeks Strategic Tie-Up with India to Expand AI Tech & Semiconductor Ecosystem

Arm Holdings, owned by SoftBank, has reported more than $1 billion revenue for a second straight quarter, underscoring its rise as a universal AI platform. CEO Rene Haas said Arm sees India as key to its growth, expecting the country to lead in headcount expansion globally. The company is in talks with the Indian government to form a framework allowing startups to use Arm’s AI technologies, tapping into India’s strong IP, chip design.
