As Ban is Lifted, VLC Media Player is Once Again Available in India

<p>Internet Freedom Foundation reported that the website of the nonprofit VideoLAN-run VLC Media Player has been unblocked by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). This occurs one month after VideoLAN gave the government a legal notice regarding the blocking of an URL. The order has reportedly been confirmed by nonprofit VideoLAN. India is one of the biggest markets for VLC, according to a TechCrunch report.</p>
