Ashvini Vaishnav Said Spectrum Will Only Be Allocated Through Auction

<p>Ashiwini Vaishnaw, the minister of telecom, made it clear that going forward, the only way to distribute spectrum will be through auction, with the exception of for government and public uses. The spectrum auction process will have legal support thanks to the telecoms bill. He added that after a full and open consultation process, he anticipates the new telecom bill to become law in the following six to ten months.</p>
