Atlassian Buys AI Browser Maker The Browser Company for $610M
Atlassian is acquiring The Browser Company—the creators of the AI-enhanced browsers Arc and Dia—for $610 million in cash, marking its entry into the AI browser market. The deal, funded from Atlassian’s substantial cash reserves, will close by Q2 FY2026, subject to approvals. Atlassian aims to reposition Dia as a productivity-centric browser for knowledge workers, integrating AI with SaaS task workflows for enterprise users.
