Audio and Video Editing Platform Descript Raises $50M In A Series C Round Led By OpenAI

<p>To encourage and hasten the integration of AI into creative, Descript, an effective, full-workflow video and audio editor, today announced a $50M Series C financing headed by OpenAI Startup Fund. Additionally taking part in the investment were Andreessen Horowitz, Redpoint Ventures, Spark Capital, and Daniel Gross. Descript also introduces its greatest product upgrade to date. The new Descript claims to make editing video as simple as editing a doc or slide show.</p>
