Bank of India Commits ₹2,000 Crore for IT Upgrades to Accelerate Digital Transformation in FY26
Bank of India has allocated ₹2,000 crore for IT enhancements in FY26, focusing on modernizing its technology infrastructure, bolstering cybersecurity, and launching new digital initiatives. Managing Director Rajneesh Karnatak emphasized the bank's commitment to becoming a technology-driven institution. In FY25, the bank automated 16 processes, saving approximately 12,000 manhours, and expanded its mobile banking user base by 5.2 million, reaching a total of 9 million customers.
